Harwood, ND — Peterson is proud to announce the addition of Chris Fedje as regional agronomist, supporting growers and dealers across central North Dakota.
Fedje, based in Rugby, ND, brings 12 years of professional agronomy experience to the Peterson team. His background includes eight years of corn and soybean research in the region, followed by time as a retail sales agronomist, giving him a strong understanding of both data-driven insights and real-world application in the field.
Raised on a family farm and still actively involved today, Fedje offers a firsthand perspective on the challenges growers face. In his role at Peterson, he will work closely with dealers and customers to provide practical, in-season agronomic support, helping translate research into clear, actionable recommendations.
“We’re excited to welcome Chris to the team,” said Scott Sanders, Peterson general manager. “His combination of local experience, research background and farmer-first mindset makes him a great fit as we continue to strengthen our agronomy support across the region.”
Fedje holds a Bachelor of Science in Crop and Weed Science from North Dakota State University and is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA). He will work closely with Peterson’s sales and product development teams to support product placement, field evaluations and grower success throughout the season.
“I’ve always valued being able to connect data to what’s actually happening in the field,” said Fedje. “Peterson’s focus on local research and strong relationships with growers and dealers made it a natural fit. I’m looking forward to getting started and supporting the team.
