NEVIS, Minn. (KFGO) – The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office says a juvenile is in custody after making threats about a school shooting.
Deputies responded to the Nevis school on a report that a student threatened to bring a gun to school. School administrators say a 14-year-old student told other students he was going to shoot up the school, a particular student, and then himself.
Deputies interviewed several students who heard the threats. They also interviewed the suspect and his father.
The teen admitted to making the threats. He is in the northwestern Minnesota Juvenile Center in Bemidji.
