Crash on northbound I-29 near 13th Avenue in Fargo on March 30, 2026.
FARGO (KFGO) – A crash backed up traffic on northbound Interstate-29 during the Monday morning commute.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance responded to the crash on I-29 just north of 13th Avenue.
Northbound traffic was down to a crawl, and backed up past the tri-level for about 30 minutes.
An ambulance left the scene with lights and sirens activated.
The Highway Patrol says the crash was between two passenger cars, just after one of the vehicles merged onto the interstate.
One driver had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
