MINNEAPOLIS – A former Mankato, Minnesota high school teacher has been sentenced to six years in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material. 54-year-old Daniel Janke pleaded guilty.
An investigation into a chatroom on Kik, a social media app, prompted an undercover law enforcement agent to communicate online with Janke, who used the on-line name “Jack Frost.” They messaged each other and Janke sent multiple images and a video containing sexually explicit images of underage children.
