City of Finley residents once again able to use water

FINLEY, N.D. (KFGO) – Residents of Finley can finally use water from the tap again.  

Last Friday, the city’s water system lost pressure due to a main line leak. Residents were asked to not use water for anything, including flushing the toilet.  

While Finley was without water, the city distributed water, the Spirit Lake tribe donated thousands of bottles of water, Mayville State University offered locker rooms for showering, and the Salvation Army served meals.  

The state lifted the do-not-use order Thursday.
