A lot of talk about fences. After a series of strong late summer storms, a lot of listeners have been dealing with downed fences, broken posts or saggy gates.
Tim also fields a call from an individual who would like to run his sump pump down his fence line. Tim advises that keeping water away from the posts is the most important. Even if you have water proofed or treated lumber, it will eventually give away. Especially if it is sitting in a wet area.
