ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota’s pheasant hunting season opens Saturday and Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Sarah Strommen is encouraging hunters to plan ahead of time.
“The DNR’s website is a great place to find out where there are public land opportunities or walking access opportunities on private lands in the place that you’re looking to hunt,” Strommen said.
According to Strommen, pheasant numbers are up across the state, so hunters should have good luck on reaching their limit.
