MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – Minot Police have released the name of a man who died in a shooting that happened in the northwest part of the city around 6:00 p.m. Monday.
Davin Smith, 34, died after being taken to Trinity Hospital.
Police said the shooter waited for law enforcement at the scene and gave a statement claiming self-defense.
No arrests have been made in the case, but the investigation is ongoing.
