GRAFTON, ND (KFGO) – A rural Adams man has been charged with murder for the shooting death of his daughter Wed. morning.
A complaint says 65-year-old Steven Aune shot 36-year-old Stephanie Aune at a shelter where they lived with another family member.
According to the complaint, Aune told a Walsh County deputy and a state crime bureau agent that he wanted them out of the house. He said he didn’t remember pulling the trigger and said it was an accident.
Stephanie Aune died at the hospital in Park River about 90 minutes after she’d been driven there by the other family member.
