FARGO, N.D. (KFGO-KVRR) – As Fraser, Ltd. put out some of their own trees, other business such as Walmart and Sam’s Club, along with many other business decorated their Christmas trees to support Fraser’s mission to help Children and Adults gain their independence.
An observer, Rod Tyson, who came into the Fargodome to vote, noticed the trees and one of his previous employers, Luther Family Buick, and was amazed by the decoration of the tree.
“I’ve seen people coming in and out of here, all day, decorating the trees working on them, and I appreciate all the time they spent doing this, it’s a wonderful charity.” Tyson says.
Fraser, Ltd. specializes in services such as providing housing for young adults, mental health therapy for families, and assisting with independent living.
As Tyson looks at the trees, he says he’d like to bring his grandchildren to the Fargodome and look at trees and how they’re decorated.
“It’s something wonderful that the family can enjoy, they can pick out their favorite tree, favorite ornaments because every one is beautiful and all different. I can’t think of a grandchild that wouldn’t enjoy seeing all of the bright lights and sparkling ornaments.” Tyson says.
The proceeds from the Festival of Trees will go to Fraser, Ltd. , and they’re also accepting hygiene donations.
