IT2 invites a local movie lover onto the show to discuss the topic of MoviePass.
Brent Brandt is a local film buff who loves going to movies. When MoviePass opened the Fargo market, it was an instant YES to sign up. See a movie a day for one low price, a price lower than the cost of a single ticket? You betcha. Things changed quickly when MoviePass started losing money. Their setup was not sustainable and now the folks who signed up on Day 1 are finding out that terms of service are changing (almost daily) and the original promises have been thrown out the window.
Should folks be thankful for the ride or angry that they aren’t getting what they signed up for?
