Over half of law enforcement agencies are seeing a drop in applications. However, Sheriff-elect Jesse Jahner says their department doesn’t have any current openings.
Jahner explains a new “roster position” within the department which he credits as helping to keep the Sheriff’s fully staffed. Additionally, he says the community support for law enforcement is a factor.
