Sam Koskey entered the KFGO studios just minutes after finishing her third round of chemotherapy. At only 28 years old, Sam’s illness was diagnosed after some sick days in January led to a trip to urgent care. A lot has happened in Sam’s life in the just over two months since she was diagnosed and started treatment. Her story is hard to imagine, especially while she maintains such a courageous attitude. During the interview, more than a couple of people in the studio shed a tear or two.
Now, Sam is passing the halfway point of treatment – the fourth round will start up in late April – and to help with the mounting bills and medical costs, her friends and family have organized a fundraiser that is infused with a lot of FUN.
April 26th and 27th at Fargo Billiards and Gastropub, a dart tournament will take place and they are inviting YOU to sign up. Half of the payout goes to the winners and the other half goes to Sam. The flyer below provides all the information.
