FARGO (KFGO) – The Highway Patrol has released the names of the people involved in a three-vehicle, alcohol-related crash in south Fargo last week.
According to the Highway Patrol, on Thursday night, 21-year-old Randon Kleppe of Fargo was driving a car south on 42nd Street S. when he ran a red light at 52nd Avenue S. and crashed into an SUV.
The SUV rolled. Kleppe’s car spun and was rear-ended by another SUV.
Kleppe and a passenger, 19-year-old Carter York of Grand Forks, were not wearing seat belts and suffered serious injuries. Both were cited for open container.
Kleppe was also cited for driving under the influence and no insurance. He faces charges of criminal vehicular injury. York was cited for minor in consumption.
The other drivers were also injured. A 41-year-old Fargo woman was seriously injured. A 53-year-old West Fargo woman suffered minor injuries.
