ORR, Minn. – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says a 29-year-old man was killed Friday night after crashing his snowmobile.
The crash happened on Arrowhead Trail, about 25 miles north of Orr.
Friends told authorities the man had been riding with their group but became separated at some point during the trip. They found him about an hour later lying dead near his snowmobile.
Investigators say it appears the man failed to navigate a 90-degree turn and hit a tree.
