BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KFGO/CBS MINNESOTA) – A boy has died after falling into a pond and going underwater in Bloomington Saturday afternoon. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of two people in the water at a pond just after 1:20 p.m..
One man was rescued from the water after hanging onto the edge of the ice. Bloomington fire could not immediately find the other person in the water later identified as the boy.
Around 3:45 p.m. The sheriffs office later used an airboat and sonars to find the boy’s body.
