Next round of USDA’s value-added meat and processing grants opens January 15

The next round of applications for the USDA Value-Added Producer Grants program opens on January 15^th, with a deadline for submissions on April 15^th.

The program helps agricultural producers generate new products, create or expand marketing opportunities, and diversify revenue.  Eligible applicants include independent producers, agricultural producer groups, farmer or rancher cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer-based business ventures. All applications must be completed via the Grant Application Portal.
