Grand Forks Fire Chief Chuck Marcott
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – Grand Forks has a new fire chief.
Deputy Fire Chief Chuck Marcott was named to the post by the city council. Marcott told the council, he appreciates the opportunity to lead and be part of the team. Mayor Brandon Bochenski says Marcott rose to the top during the search process.
Marcott replaces Gary Lorenz who became the fire chief in Fargo earlier this summer. Lorenz returned to Fargo. He spent 28 with the Fargo Fire Department before he was hired in Grand Forks.
