FARGO (KFGO) — Fargo firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from an unoccupied house around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
Crews forced their way inside the locked house at 5533 20th Street South and found a fire on the second floor. They put it out within 10 minutes.
The house sustained significant damage and a cost estimate is still being determined. The residents have been displaced.
The Fire Department says it appears to be accidental, but the cause remains under investigation.
