FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police say the person injured in a shooting at a south Fargo apartment Wednesday has died.
Police responded to an apartment in the 4500 Block of 47th St. S. around noon for a shooting. Officers found one victim with life-threatening gunshot wounds. That person was taken to a Fargo hospital. Police said Thursday afternoon the victim died due to their injuries.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide. Captain Bill Ahlfeldt says investigators are working on several leads. Ahlfeldt says it’s believed the incident is isolated and there is no known threat to the public.
The victim’s name is expected to be released Friday after next-of-kin have been notified.
