FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – North Dakota natives and ACM award-winning country music singing sisters Tigirlily Gold are coming to Fargo on Friday for an album signing.
KVRR’s TJ Nelson had a chance to talk to the ladies Thursday afternoon.
“We have the cds in stock at Walmart so we’ll be hanging out, we’d love to sign all the cds and we can talk to people as they come through about the album,” said Krista Slaubaugh.
“Yeah and take pictures too, we’re just going to be hanging out this is really we say 5-7 but we’ll be there as long as we need to be,” Kendra Slaubaugh said.
You guys are both becoming pretty big hits on social media I’ve noticed too with the different kind of videos you’re doing. Having a little bit of fun at the same time, right?
“Yes, we try to keep it light, we try to keep it fun it’s doing this together as a duo as sisters we, honestly we just have a blast doing what we do at the end of the day and we love to entertain people and so we hope social media is entertaining for people as we’re on there and we like to have fun,” said Kendra.
“You know Walmart is a place where we bought a lot of the cds that inspired us growing up so it’s so fun to be able to do this,” Kendra said.
And you walk in and get to see yours there on display, right?
“We’ve never gotten to do that,” said Kendra.
No?
“We’ve never gotten to walk into a store and buy our cd, no, we’ve never gotten to do that so tomorrow we officially get to buy our cd for the first time.”
“Country & Midwestern” by Tigirlily Gold goes on sale Friday, October 9. That in-store album signing at Walmart on 52nd Ave. happens from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
