GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A 39-year-old woman is hospitalized and facing DUI charges following a hit-and-run crash near Grand Forks.
State troopers say her SUV rear-ended a fuel truck on Business Route 81 around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The impact triggered an explosion, but neither vehicle started on fire.
The Manvel woman was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with serious injuries.
Officers later found the fuel truck abandoned, but are still searching for its driver.
