LISBON, N.D. (KFGO) – A man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to kill a Lisbon Police Officer who was transporting him to jail.
Court documents say Monday just after 2 p.m., a Lisbon police officer responded to a home where a woman said that Justin Kapple, 49, had visited and said he was going to “die that day” before leaving the home.
Kapple reportedly returned to the home where he and the woman began arguing. He called the woman a narc because she had given Lisbon Police information about narcotics activity in town.
Kapple was arrested for disorderly conduct. Court documents say while traveling to the Stutsman County Correctional Center, Kapple threatened the officer, saying he was going to break his neck and kill him. When they arrived to the jail, Kapple told the officer “this isn’t done”.
While reviewing the situation, additional charges for terrorizing and witness tampering were recommended by the Ransom County State’s Attorney.
