BEMIDJI, Minn. (KFGO) – 20 people were arrested during a two day law enforcement operation in and around Bemidji.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the operation took place July 22nd and 23rd. Officers target people wanted for violent crimes, gun-related offenses, shootings, and drug crimes.
Some of those arrested were taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Investigators also recovered four illegal firearms, a gun silencer, ammunition, and small amounts of illegal drugs.

Along with BCA the Bemidji Police Department, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force, Leech Lake & Red Lake Tribal Police Departments, Hubbard, Cass, & Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI assisted with the operation.
Everyone arrested was booked into the Cass County Jail, Hubbard County Jail, or the Red Lake Detention Center while formal charges are pending.
