I work with some great people at KFGO. Two of those people are Amy Iler and JJ Gordon, the hosts of our midday show, “It Takes Two.” Amy’s stars aligned and she was able to purchase four tickets to the Obama Presidential Center. As she puts it, she “won the lottery.” The demand for tickets into the Obama Presidential Center is so high, you have to sign up for ticket availability as they’re constantly sold out.
With the tickets Amy bought, she and JJ decided to go even farther. They decided to push their luck and work to bring their show there. And if you know anything about those two, you would know not to bet against them.
They were able to broadcast from the Obama Presidential Center, and brought all of the sights and sound back to us. It’s worth your time to check it out.

Roads and bridges are being blown up. Water and sewer plants as well. All because the war in Iran continues, despite Donald Trump saying it’s over. Billions of dollars are being spent and my question for you is, why?
We’re now at war in Iran. A war that every previous president worked to avoid, including our current President promising to avoid. So how do we get out? How do we declare victory and stop spending billions of dollars to open a passage of water that was already open before we started this war?
I realize the rhetoric President Trump uses is an attempt to stop nuclear war. But I also realize an agreement was already in place that was negotiated by NATO and led by President Barack Obama. An agreement that allowed for full nuclear inspection whenever needed. The problem for Trump is that Obama put the agreement in place.
The soldiers who have come home in flag-draped caskets didn’t give their lives for nothing. They did what they were called upon to do, and upheld the oath they swore. I just hope we can remember the 120 school girls that just went to school that morning.
