CROOKSTON, Minn (KFGO/KNOX) – A Crookston man is facing felony charges after repeatedly punching another man in a parking lot, pushing a woman to the ground and resisting officers.
A Crookston police officer was called Sunday evening to a parking lot near a gazebo where they found a man on the ground with face injuries.
According to a complaint the victim was trying to leave the parking lot and hit Chris Noah, 53, with a wagon. Police say Noah knocked the man’s glasses off, stomped them and repeatedly punched him while he was on the ground.
The victim suffered a deep cut above his eye that required stitches. He was transported to Riverview Hospital in Crookston.
Police say Noah is charged with one felony count of third degree assault and a gross misdemeanor for fifth degree assault.
