FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) – Cass-Clay Creamery and Hornbachers donated 24,000 cartons of shelf stable milk to Great Plains Food Bank. Milk is a highly requested item at food banks. The donation was part of a program Cass-Clay has had with Great Plains since 2020.
“Being a local dairy in the state of North Dakota, we feel it’s important to give back to our community and to the neighbors that help support us throughout the year,” said Cass-Clay Sales Manager Steve Tedford.
“To be able to reinvest in our local businesses makes the whole community stronger. And we’re committed to that,” said Ann Prifrel, CEO for Great Plains Food Bank.
Since the program began, Cass-Clay has donated more than 375,000 cartons of shelf stable milk.
