(KFAN/KFGO) – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks drop the first game of the series against the Lake Country DockHounds in a 14-1 rout. Kyle Crigger of the RedHawks would pitch 4.2 innings giving up 6 runs all earned. Luke Hansel of the DockHounds would pitch 6 innings of 2 hit ball with 4 strikeouts.
The DockHounds would score their first of 14 runs in the second inning when Mario Feliciano homered to left off Kyle Crigger making it 1-0 DockHounds.
It would be 2-0 DockHounds going into the 5th inning when the DockHounds would score 4 more runs including a 3 run home run by Peter Zimmermann.
The RedHawks would score their lone run of the game in the bottom of the 7th when Jarius Richards walked with the bases loaded making it 8-1 DockHounds.
The DockHounds would score 6 more runs in the 8th inning to make it 14-1.
Game two of the series continues tomorrow at Newman Outdoor Field.
