FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released the department’s Annual Report for 2025.
The report shows calls for service decreased by nearly 2,000 from 2024. Traffic citations and DUIs have also decreased. Crimes like theft, assault, and fraud are consistent.
Sheriff Jesse Jahner says fraud has been an ongoing issue for the last couple of years. He says the department is exploring ways to share fraud and scam information with residents.
“We are looking at potentially trying to put something together for when people send that information to us, we can maybe put it out on the website, or some sort of social media platform that people can go to and look at it and say, ‘Yep, I got that. I received that same thing and this is a scam,” said Jahner.
