Minnesota growers encouraged to apply for CanGrow farmer training and loan grant programs

The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management is now accepting applications for the CanGrow farmer training and farmer loan grant programs.

This program supports organizations in providing training, technical assistance, and low-interest loans to help Minnesota farmers enter or expand in the legal cannabis industry, especially in communities eligible for social equity.

• Total funding available: $2.3 million
• Application deadline: June 1 at 4:30 p.m.
• Last day to ask questions: May 26 by 4:30 p.m.
• This is a competitive grant program

OCM will host a CanGrow grant information and technical assistance session to provide an overview of the funding opportunity and what applicants can expect during the request for proposals process.

• Date and time: Thursday, May 7, from 3-4 p.m. CDT
• Location: Microsoft Teams
• Registration required (limited to 1,000 participants)
• Microsoft Teams Q&A feature will be enabled; chat and video will be disabled for attendees.
