NDSU Presidential Search committee selects candidates for first-round interviews

FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota State University Presidential Search Committee met Monday afternoon to narrow the search for NDSU’s next president.

The committee reviewed their lists of top candidates and selected candidates for the initial interview process. They also discussed interview topics and logistics.

This portion of the meeting was not open to the public and happened in executive session, which was limited to search committee members, staff assisting the search committee, NDUS office personnel, and NDUS legal counsel.

Initial interviews are scheduled for March 2 and 3. Semifinalist interviews are expected to happen in Minneapolis on March 9 and 10.

The finalists are scheduled to visit campus the week of March 23.

Rick Berg took over as the interim president of NDSU earlier this month after David Cook took a job as president of Iowa State University.
