WILTON, N.D. – Two people were killed in a head-on collision on US Highway 83 south of Wilton Sunday morning.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by an 80-year-old Williston woman was southbound in the northbound lanes, about six miles south of Wilton. The SUV struck a northbound car, driven by a 21-year-old Bismarck woman.
The crash happened around 10:30 am. Conditions at the time were foggy and wet.
Both drivers were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, where they died.
