Fargo house fire Feb. 2, 2026
FARGO (KFGO) – A house fire in south Fargo sent two people to the hospital Monday night.
The Fargo Fire Department says the call to 1342 15th Street S. came in shortly before 11 p.m. When firefighters arrived, the first floor of the house was fully engulfed in flames.
All residents made it out of the house before first responders arrived, but four cats did not survive the blaze. Two of the residents were taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The department says the house sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation and an estimate of damage has not been determined.
The Fire Department says five engines, one truck, two battalion chiefs, Sanford Ambulance, Fargo Police, and the Salvation Army responded to the scene.
