New North Dakota Highway Patrol bloodhound to be stationed in Fargo (NDHP)
FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is welcoming a new bloodhound to the team in February.
The K9 officer will be stationed in Fargo, but before he reports for duty, he needs a name.
The family of the trooper who will be his partner has picked four names for the public to vote on: Beau, Oslo, Mack or Leo. You can vote on the Highway Patrol Facebook page.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol got its first bloodhound in spring of 2025. K9 Gary is located in the northeast region of the state and recently helped track a missing 10-year-old boy in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
