FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — A suspect is in custody while local and federal law enforcement investigate a homicide on the Spirit Lake Reservation.
The victim has been identified as Jesse Davis, known to family and community members as J.C. Spirit Lake Tribal Council says the suspect is a male juvenile.
The tribal council believes this is an isolated event and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
Fort Totten Bureau of Indian Affairs and FBI continue to investigate.
