GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– No. 4 North Dakota returns to the ice for the first time in 2026 and will open up a series against Mercyhurst beginning on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
All UND men’s hockey games, home and away, can be heard on Radio: AM 790 FM 104.7 | 94.1 KFGO and the Fighting Hawks Radio Network with longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, who is in his 46th year on the mic for UND hockey, and Mike LaMoine calling the action.
Friday will mark the first meeting between North Dakota and Mercyhurst.
The Lakers are just one of only eight college hockey programs that UND has never played a regular season game against entering this weekend (Augustana, Bentley, Connecticut, Long Island, Mercyhurst, RIT, Sacred Heart, Stonehill).
UND also enters the weekend with a 36-2-0 record against programs in Atlantic Hockey America — including a perfect 29-0-0 at home.
