EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (KFGO-KVRR) — A home is a total loss after a New Year’s Eve fire in East Grand Forks.
Neighbors reported the fire at 920 2nd Avenue Northeast just after 11 p.m.
No one was home. Three dogs were rescued. Fire crews were on scene for several hours to put out hot spots in the crawl space.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. It’s believed to have started near a furnace.
The one person was displaced.
