PARKERS PRAIRIE, Minn. (KFGO) – An Otter Tail County family lost its home and at least one dog died in a fire Wednesday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called to the home in Parkers Prairie shortly after 7 a.m., and when they arrived it was fully engulfed in flames. Three of the seven family members were in the home when the fire broke out. They were all able to escape uninjured.
The home is destroyed. The cause hasn’t been determined.
The Parkers Prairie, Miltona, and Henning Fire Departments, Parkers Prairie Ambulance, Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Parkers Prairie Police, and the State Fire Marshal’s office responded to the scene.
