HOWARD, S.D. (KFGO) – A Howard, South Dakota man has been indicted on murder charges in connection to a stabbing death earlier this month.
Elias Stubbe, 46, was indicted by a Miner County grand jury on one count each of First and Second Degree Murder and First Degree Manslaughter. Stubbe is accused in the death of Nichole Malfero, 56, who was found dead at a home in Howard December 6.
Stubbe is being held in the Davison County Jail in Mitchell, South Dakota on a $1-million bond.
