FARGO (KFGO) – Police say two people are receiving medical care after a stabbing overnight in south Fargo.
Lt. Cristie Jacobsen of the Neighborhood Services Division says Fargo Police responded around 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 19 to the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue South for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been stabbed. Police say both men are currently receiving medical care, and are stable with non life-threatening injuries.
Maverick Herald, a 34-year-old Fargo resident, was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault.
Lt. Jaconsen says there was an initial report of another victim with an injury related to this investigation, but officers determined that was not the case.
There is no known immediate threat to the public.
