FARGO (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several bomb threats. Officials say calls started coming in around 8:45 Thursday night about bomb threats at different locations in rural parts of the county.
Deputies conducted multiple building checks throughout communities and schools during the overnight hours. The sheriff’s office says only one specific location was identified in Kindred, and a K9 unit was used to check and clear that area.
As of right now, no credible threats have been identified and the sheriff’s office believes it’s a hoax. However, officials are asking people to keep an eye out during their morning commute and throughout the day.
If anyone sees an item or package that appears suspicious, they should contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate the threats and provide additional updates should information become available.
