Timothy Johnson, 40, of Fargo, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. He was surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Timothy Lee Johnson was born on April 19, 1985, in Fargo, ND. He grew up in West Fargo where he graduated from high school. He owned his own contracting business.
Tim was a devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his daughters, Evie and Ophelia. He held a deep bond with his sister, nephew, mother, and the many friends and relatives whose lives he brightened.
An avid outdoorsman, Tim found peace and joy in nature. He loved hiking, camping, and spending long days by the lake. Music festivals were another of his favorite places – where he felt most himself, connecting with others and enjoying the energy of live music. His love for animals was just as strong: pets were always a source of comfort, companionship, and happiness for him.
Tim will be remembered for his warmth, his easy laughter, and the way he made people feel welcome and cared for. His spirit lives on in the memories he created and in the hearts of all who knew him.
Tim is survived by his two daughters, Evie and Ophelia; his mother, Bridget Hill; a sister, Crystal Hill; a nephew, Rohan; several aunts and an uncle; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his cousin, Gabe.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment: Hill Side Cemetery, Fingal, North Dakota.
