ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A man who attacked a woman and three others with a knife and hammer in a southern Minnesota college dorm room has been sentenced to prison.
In May of 2022, William Schulenberg climbed through the window of the St. Olaf College dorm room during a party and attacked the woman, hitting her on the head multiple times and stabbing her in the neck.
Attorney General Keith Ellison says the others intervened and were also attacked by Schulenberg. He hit two of them with the hammer and cut the other with the knife.
Schulenberg was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
