LAKOTA, N.D. (KFGO) – A Lakota man has died of injuries suffered in an SUV semi-crash last month near Lakota.
The Highway Patrol says James Burtness, 83, was seriously hurt in the September 16 collision on US Highway 2 and State Highway 1, and died earlier this week.
The patrol says Burtness crossed the eastbound lanes of Highway 2 and was hit by the semi. The truck driver, from New York, was not hurt.
