Adam Fravel (WCCO)
WINONA, Minn. (KFGO) – The man convicted of murdering Madeline Kingsbury, his ex-girlfriend and the southern Minnesota mother whose disappearance set off a massive search in 2023, has asked for a new trial.
Adam Fravel filed the challenge claiming misleading information was presented during his trial in Winona.
A jury last year found him guilty of murdering Kingsbury. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole. He previously filed an appeal in march and has maintained his innocence.
Fravel remains at oak park heights state prison.
