FARGO (KFGO) – Prosecutors have filed felony charges against the driver of a car who led a Cass County deputy on brief pursuit that ended in a crash last Friday night in north Fargo.
Tristan Amyotte, 20, of Fargo, is charged with having drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, fentanyl, fleeing a peace officer and reckless endangerment. The deputy tried to stop Amyotte for having one headlight on 19th Avenue. The pursuit was called off due to safety concerns.
A short time later, the car crashed into another vehicle. Amyotte and a 19-year-old woman, a passenger, were treated for minor injuries.
The other driver was not hurt.
