ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – The number of locations in Minnesota that sell adult-use marijuana and related products has expanded.
The State Office of Cannabis Management says 13 of 16 existing medical cannabis dispensaries are now able to sell recreational pot. They have been issued combination business licenses to sell to both the medical and recreational market.
All eight of Good Greens dispensaries, including Moorhead, are now able to sell cannabis products to medical and non-medical use customers.
Office of Cannabis Management Executive Director Eric Taubel says the state is at a point where critical work streams have come together, allowing state-licensed retailers to expand their market.
Taubel says the businesses are working with tribal nations to carry tribally-grown products as they open their doors to eager customers.
