ROCHESTER, Minn. – Mayo Clinic Health Systems is closing Six clinics in southern Minnesota by the end of the year.
The clinics are in Belle Plaine, Caledonia, Montgomery, Northridge, St. Peter, and Wells. Mayo says rural and community healthcare across the country is facing significant challenges, including staffing shortages and falling patient numbers.
The closures will leave the Mayo system with 19 clinics in Minnesota.
