BISMARCK, N.D (KFGO) – The Powerball jackpot continues its massive climb, reaching $1.7 Billion but a lucky North Dakota Powerball player did hit it big. A $100,000 Powerball with Power Play ticket for Wednesday night’s draw won by matching four white balls and the Powerball.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69, and the Powerball was 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
The ticket was sold at Don’s Car Wash, 2500 52nd Ave S, in Fargo. The prize was $50,000, but because the player had also purchased the Power Play option, the ticket is worth $100,000. Don’s Car Wash will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket. The holder of the winning
The winner of ticket must claim their prize at the North Dakota Lottery office within 180 days of the draw.
“The billion-dollar Powerball jackpot run has created a lot of excitement for players as well as a couple of big wins,” said Thomas Lawler, Attorney General’s Office Director of the North Dakota Lottery. “In addition to this six-figure Powerball win, North Dakota also had a $50,000 Powerball winner on August 23. Powerball has shared its luck with other games, as we also had a Lucky for Life $25,000 a year for life winner in early August.”
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, September 6 draw is $1.7 Billion.
