FAIRMOUNT, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fairmount woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle on County Road 81 near Fairmount.
The highway patrol says the victim was struck near the rear of the bike and died at the scene. Her name has not been released. The driver of the car, a 33-year-old Hankinson woman, suffered minor injuries.
The patrol, Richland County deputies, the Fairmount Fire Department, ambulances from Hankinson and Breckenridge responded to the call along with LifeLink III Air Ambulance in Alexandria, Minnesota.
